WordPress Mass IFrame Injection Attack 2

It’s funny.  When I created this site, the intention was not to make it a site on how to do all things WordPress.  My intentions rather were to create a site to share the road to financial freedom.  Well, what I’m finding, is that WordPress is much like Microsoft Windows.  Because it’s the big boy on the block, everyone seems to want to take a shot at them.  So, with that in mind, here’s another post on how to fix another hack that many were hit with in WordPress.  I recommend watching the video below as I take you step by step how to identify and remove the latest injection I was hit with (on a number of my websites).

Some of the resources mentioned in this video:

Free website scanner – http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/
Hosting – Bluehost (affiliate link) – love these guys, great tools and great service

So, as you saw in the video, one of the sites that was hacked was my headphone review site, HeadphoneReviewHQ.com.  This is one of my first niche/authority sites that I created and probably also one of my bigger hobbies so I was frustrated when that happened.  What was even worse, was this site got hacked as well, and it was even blacklisted by Google!  I tell you that so that you’ll know you need to keep on top of your WordPress installs.  In a future article I’ll try and outline the steps necessary to try and lock down your WordPress installation to make it more difficult for hackers to make their way into your sites.

I really do hope this has helped someone out there and if you have any questions or comments, please do leave a comment below.  In the near future I’ll finally get some posts together on some projects I have underway, what I’m doing to get ranked, drive traffic and ultimately start down the path of financial freedom.
